Python Job: Junior DevOps-2nd line Support Engineer

Our software platform is used by large, global organizations, like Intel, Schaeffler Technologies, Shell, Emirates, Dutch Tax Authority and the British Ministry of Defense. Your role will be to provide a vital link between our DevOps and Support teams. Your main goal is to help deliver first-class support to our customers. To do so you will investigate the most complex issues reported by users of our platform, including analyzing our hosting infrastructure for potential causes and fixing those, and implementing improvements to our infrastructure. You will also play a key role in maintaining and optimizing the tooling used by our Support Team.

As a member of both our DevOps and Support teams, you have a large degree of freedom to experiment with and implement new technologies in all areas of your job, and by investigating complex problems you will quickly learn about our global hosting infrastructure. Current technologies used include the AWS CDK for Python, EKS (Kubernetes), Prometheus, PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch.

This unique role allows starting DevOps engineers to familiarize themselves with operating large infrastructure deployments and troubleshooting skills.

Wij vragen

What you will bring to the team:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or multiple years of relevant experience
• Experience in either a Junior DevOps or 2nd line support role
• Experience with at least one of the technologies currently used by us
• You are a good communicator and proficient in the English language
